national obsession — played everywhere, debated everywhere, worshipped

Please note: games are usually played on Saturday and Sunday afternoon. poor. This is a chance to discover how the disadvantaged live — a fascinating
visit to one of Rio's hillside shantytowns, or favelas. The community has
enthusiastically embraced these tours, and you'll be helping to contribute to their
well-being. 10% of the price of your tour will go directly back to the community to
support social projects.
Churrascuria + Show (Plataforma 1)(Daily) 20:00 to 00:00 Price: R$ 110,00 per person / without dinner (Ticket + Transfer in / out) or R$ 135,00 per person with dinner (Ticket + Transfer in / out + dinner at Grill In)
Brazil's most beloved restaurant style is the churrascuria, the all-you-can-eat
restaurants where waiters carve a huge variety of meats right at your table, and
you can help yourself to a sumptuous buffet of salads, sushi and hot dishes.
Meat-lovers, memorize the word "picanha" (a Brazilian cut of sirloin). There are
also plenty of vegetarian options.
After the meal, we'll head to the Plataforma Theater for a dazzling show featuring folklore from all over Brazil, including capoeira, samba dancers in carnival costumes, macumba and percussion. ![]() The Sounds of Brazil - Lapa with Rio Scenarium(Thursday to Sunday) 20:00 - 02:00 Price: R$ 120,00 per person with dinner or R$ 100,00 per person without dinner (Tickets + Transfer in / out + dinner (optional))
Lapa is a neighborhood in downtown Rio that once fell on hard times but in the
last 15 years has enjoyed an extraordinary renaissance. Today, it's the nightlife
capitol of Rio, alive with restaurants, nightclubs, and above all, people. Have
dinner in a churrascuria, then head to Rio Scenarium, one of the clubs that fueled
the renaissance. A quirky mix of antique store and music venue, it's a wonderful
place to discover Brazilian music — from samba to MPB to choro. If you don't
end up dancing, something's very wrong.
![]() Angra Dos Reis and Ilha Grande(Daily) 07:00 - 20:00 Price: R$ 120,00 per person (Transfer in / out + Sailboat + Lunch + Fruits onboard)
Pretty much the definition of "tropical paradise." An amalgam of 365 islands,
one for every day of the year, this is where the Brazilian helicopter set parks
its helicopters. Turquoise waters, floating bars, yachts, and that impossible
tropical green as far as the eye can see. The three-hour drive down the coast is
breathtaking. We'll board a boat and stop on three of the islands (you'll want to
come back for the other 362), have lunch on board, then return to Rio.
![]() The Tropical Islands(Daily) 08:00 - 18:00
An hour and a half south of Rio sits the picturesque village of Itacuruca. There,
you'll board a schooner and tour the gorgeous islands of Jaguanum, Martins,
and Itacuruca Island. At Jaguanum, there's a stop for lunch and a swim in the
turquoise waters.
![]() Búzios(Daily) 07:00 - 20:00 Price: R$ 120,00 per person (Transfer in / out + Lunch + Sailboat)
Buzios is an internationally renowned beach resort a couple of hours north of
Rio, made famous by Brigitte Bardot in the 1960s, when she spent time here with
her Brazilian lover. (There's even a statue of her on the promenade.) We'll visit
some of the area's beautiful beaches, then return to the city for lunch and a walk
through the charming cobblestone main street, the Rua das Pedras, lined with
fashionable boutiques and restaurants.
